Splish Splash Splish…

I was ecstatic when I heard that we were going to Adventure Cove today. I’m a water baby and just love playing with water, in the water. Anything to do with water.

The previous time we went to adventure cove it rained pretty badly. So it wasn’t quite so fun then. I prayed for good weather today and wala!! We had good sunshine! =)

We started off floating by the lazy river. This time round we also managed to get some pictures with the stingrays. It was the first time up close I had to them. Question….Do stingrays sting?

Jiejie could swim already so she didn’t need a float like me and Mama. She was just splishing and splashing and throwing water on me all the time. That cheeky sister of mine.

After the lazy river, we went on to the tidal pool area. Or whatever you call it. That’s one of jiejie’s favorite activities. The waves are mighty huge and I didn’t dare to venture in deep. So i just stayed at the edge with Mama. I still had a swell time splashing water at Mama.

Frankly I don’t understand what’s the big deal with the tidal waves. I merely saw Papa and Jiejie bobbing up and down. up and down. Lots of screams and shouts too. I hope nobody drowned. I don’t think anybody did. Oh well….

Check out my swimsuit. Mama said I looked handsome. Whatcha think?

After all the water activities it was time for lunch. Pity that the restaurants aren’t open yet and we had to buy food from the foodcarts. Wasn’t really like proper lunch lunch food. Lucky me had food cooked from home though. Mama said that I still cannot eat outside food as it’s too salty, so whenever I go out Auntie Anni or Omar would cook something for me to bring around. I’m pretty much ok with that. Though sometimes the food does taste a little yucky. And I let mama and papa know that by screaming and kicking a big fuss when eating. I think that happens like 1-2 times out of 10. So in general I still get fed good food. Hope it stays that way. =)

Handsome or not? Mama always calls me handsome and not Papa. 😉

After lunch we left adventure cove. Jiejie’s slipper broke so she had to buy a replacement one the gift store. And away we left for Vivocity.

At vivocity it was a blur…As usual after lunch I got sleepy and slept for a good 2 hours in my stroller. So I had no idea what Papa, Mama or Jiejie did. But knowing them, they probably went shopping, played at timezone and had some coffee.

I feel like I’m always missing out so much in the afternoons. But Papa reminds me that it’s essential I get good sleep in the afternoons so that I’ll grow up strong and smart. And that I’ll appreciate the afternoon naps. It’s a luxury that I won’t have when I grow older.

I’m not too sure whether I believe him. We’ll see when I grow up.
